Today’s STYLE GUIDE is about mixing up all sorts of styles, textures and colours. I have fun visiting with Kim at Home Decor & Moore, she has great taste and of course I love to see her newest furniture and lighting.
You can literally leave her store with a whole new room, from paint to art and furniture.
This mixed up style is cozy for fall, with a deep red as the accent colour and textures of fall throws in baskets.
* The colour accents can be changed every season with this look and it would be easy enough to switch up the red for turquoise, yellow or sapphire blue.
We call this a mix of classic with a rustic country vibe. It works well together and the cowhide texture of the pillow ties the whole colour scheme together. From the distressed wood and metal art, to the linen throws and high backed gray wing chair – it all works.
A traditional chair mixed in with bold black and white Moroccan patterns. This tribal vibe mixes well with the rustic looking woods and metals of the table, mirror and lighting too.
(Those large patterned black and white pillows in the back row would be perfect to sit on in a meditation corner.)
This section of the store had a more boho feel to it and I LOVED EVERY PIECE! The colours, textures and patterns from India are so uniquely chosen and mix well.
