This dining room is TODAY’S CHALLENGE on the blog.
When my client Sylvia first contacted me about her dining room, she felt lost and had no idea how to tie in her existing artwork & buffet with new dining room furnishings.
With help Upfront Design & Gallery, we were able to sit down and come up with a design scheme right away.
After coming up with a plan for the new furniture and accessories, we decided to pull it all together with Sylvia’s favourite colour BLUE – CC-740 Labrador Blue by Benjamin Moore.
This dining room transformation is proof of what a design consultation, some paint and new furnishings can do for a room. By new furnishings, we don’t necessarily mean bought from a store…perhaps you have an old piece of furniture in another room that would work for a hit of colour. Perhaps you have a piece that you can painted, to bring it back to life?
I love to do up a design board to show how everything will come together and my clients reactions to see their room designed. For this dining room- it was a hit! This is why I do what I do, using colour and design to bring joy into homes and spaces around the world.
