It connects us to holistic thought, and gives us wisdom and clarity enhancing communication and speech. The colour turquoise is said to have a calming effect on people with anxiety and is often used in spas and doctors office to help calm the patients. Pair it with white and find some room for a soothing turquoise in your home.

Yellow is energetic, joyful and full of desire. It is an excellent choice for kitchens, dining rooms and large bathrooms, where it is energizing and uplifting. In halls, entries and small spaces, yellow can feel expansive and welcoming.
Even though yellow is a cheery color, it is not a good choice for main color schemes. Studies show that people are more likely to lose their temper in a yellow interior. Studies have even been done that prove babies seem to cry more in yellow rooms. Yellow in small doses communicates the feeling of happiness, find room in your home for yellow
